What a great quote abut expectation. So if you think someone 's a jerk, you will only see the qualities that reinforce your expectations. Interesting, isn't it?

In a study done years ago, a new teacher was informed she was given a class that had the most talented and creative kids in the 5th grade. At the end of the year, the class indeed outperformed all others in their testing and performance categories. The interesting fact, these kids were actually the most disruptive and poorest performing children from the year before.

The expectation and meaning that we give towards clients/prospects/fellow teammates will manifest itself.

So, your challenge today, what is your mental expectation of the clients/ prospects/ teammates that you deal with? Be sure to watch the internal dialogue you have when you deal with people.
